Supporting UNEP in Disseminating Kuwait's Sustainable Consumption and Production National Action Plan (SCP NAP)
At the Sustainable Life Centre, we are dedicated to promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship through impactful partnerships. Therefore, our recent collaboration with UNEP to disseminate Kuwait’s Sustainable Consumption and Production National Action Plan (SCP NAP) exemplifies our commitment to enhancing sustainability practices across various sectors. Developed at the request of the Kuwait Environment Public Authority, this initiative focuses on waste management, particularly in managing construction and demolition waste (CDW) and plastics.
Key Achievements
Creation of Visual Materials
Our team primarily contributed to the development of engaging visual materials to illustrate the key aspects of the SCP NAP. These visuals were designed to enhance understanding and promote awareness of the plan’s goals and strategies. By breaking down complex information into accessible and visually appealing formats, we aimed to reach a broad audience, ensuring that the importance of sustainable consumption and production practices was clearly communicated.
Development of Factsheets
To further support the dissemination efforts, we produced comprehensive factsheets summarizing the SCP NAP’s goals, strategies, and anticipated outcomes. These factsheets were essential in informing stakeholders about the critical importance of sustainable consumption and production practices in Kuwait. By providing clear and concise information, these resources helped stakeholders grasp the practical implications of the SCP NAP and the benefits of its implementation.
Design of Infographics
We also created detailed infographics to visually present crucial data and insights related to the SCP NAP. These infographics focused on key areas such as CDW and plastic management, circular economy principles, and specific initiatives within Kuwait. Our goal was to inform and inspire action among stakeholders by presenting the information in a visually engaging and easily digestible format. These infographics were instrumental in highlighting the tangible steps being taken to promote sustainability in Kuwait.

Our efforts facilitated the widespread dissemination and understanding of Kuwait’s SCP NAP among policymakers, businesses, and the public.
